1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern participation in the Fantasy OWCS ("the League"), operated by FantasyOWCS ("we", "us", or "our"). By registering for or participating in the League, you agree to be bound by these Terms. This League is based in the United Kingdom and governed by UK law, but is open to eligible participants globally, except where prohibited by local law.
2. Eligibility
- If you are under 13, you cannot register without parental/guardian permission.
- You must be at least 18 years old to claim any cash element of a prize.
- Participation is not permitted in jurisdictions where fantasy sports contests with cash prizes are prohibited or regulated as gambling.
- You are responsible for ensuring compliance with local laws.
- Employees and contractors of FantasyOWCS and their immediate family members are not eligible to win prizes.
- Participants that compete or work directly for the teams/players involved in scoring are able to participate but not eligible for any prizes.
- In the event a prize is won by an invalid participant the prize will go to the next highest scorer.
3. Skill-Based Competition
- This League is classified as a skill-based competition under UK law and does not constitute gambling.
- Success is determined by participants’ skill in assembling fantasy rosters based on knowledge of Overwatch League players and performance data.
- No element of chance (such as random draws or betting odds) materially affects the outcome.
4. Account Registration
- Participants must register using accurate personal information and maintain only one active account.
- Multiple or fraudulent accounts may result in disqualification and forfeiture of prizes.
- We reserve the right to suspend accounts for suspected violations of these Terms.
5. Entry Fees and Gameplay
- Contests are completely free to enter and play.
- Gameplay involves selecting a team of Overwatch players from real-life professional matches.
- Points are earned based on player performance using scoring metrics published on the League platform.
- Scoring data is sourced from publicly available esports statistics and may be subject to revision for accuracy.
6. Prizes and PayPal Distribution
- Prizes, including cash payouts, will be awarded to top-performing participants as defined by each contest's rules.
- Prize amounts and payout structure will be displayed prior to the start of each contest.
- All cash prizes will be distributed via PayPal. Participants must provide a valid PayPal account for payout.
- If you fail to provide a valid PayPal account within 30 days of notification, you may forfeit the prize.
- Any fees or currency conversion charges imposed by PayPal are the sole responsibility of the recipient.
- Winners may be required to verify identity before receiving prizes, especially for larger winnings.
- In the event of a tied score, participants will be separated by the highest score in an individual week
- In the event this also results in a tie we will take the second highest score in an individual week and so forth until the tie is broken.
7. Taxation and Legal Compliance
- Participants are solely responsible for reporting and paying any taxes owed in their jurisdiction on prizes received.
- We may withhold taxes or submit declarations where required by law.
- We do not provide tax advice.
8. Data Protection
- Your data will be handled in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
- We collect, store, and process your personal information only for contest administration, fraud prevention, and compliance purposes.

9. Fair Play and Conduct
- You agree not to use bots, scripts, collusion, or any cheating mechanism to gain an unfair advantage.
- Any misconduct may lead to suspension, disqualification, and prize forfeiture at our sole discretion.
- We reserve the right to investigate suspicious activity and cooperate with legal authorities if necessary.
10. Intellectual Property
- “Overwatch” and all related assets are the intellectual property of Blizzard Entertainment. This League is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Blizzard Entertainment.
- All content, branding, and platform code used in this League is the property of OWCS Fantasy.
11. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for technical malfunctions, data errors, platform downtime, or third-party service disruptions (including PayPal).
12. Jurisdiction and Governing Law
- These Terms shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
- We make no representation that the League is appropriate or available for use in all jurisdictions.
13. Amendments
- We may update these Terms at any time.
- Continued participation after updates constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
